Biography
Performing in various music and dance recitals since the age of seven, Geoff first acted in his elementary school's adaptation of Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland. Unaware of the career before him, he undertook his second acting performance in Grade nine as Tiny Tim in Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol. In Grade ten he found his destiny performing the lead role in the school production of Fame.
He is a graduate of the
University of Waterloo's theatre program where he trained for stage and various aspects of theatre. Following university he moved to Toronto. Training with many well known teachers in the city he developed skills for the big screen and television. He honed his craft working with smaller theatre and film companies and his work in puppetry and children's theatre took him through most of North America and parts of Asia. He is also skilled in voice work and narration.
Some highlights from his resume include: Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Templeton the Rat in Charlotte's Web, work as a principal puppeteer for the world renowned black light theatre company
Famous PEOPLE Players, as well as many film roles in a variety of independent productions.
In addition to this, he provides acting coaching and reading services through his company
actors4actors and he participates regularly in the ongoing reading series
WILDsound.
